1 min read
Many referrers will glance at your LinkedIn profile as well as your CV. It only needs to be clear and consistent.
Checklist
- A clear, recent headline saying what you do or what you are looking for.
- Job titles and dates that match your CV.
- A short summary with two or three relevant strengths.
- Relevant projects, skills or certificates, listed accurately.
- A professional profile photo if you choose to have one.
- Contact settings that let people message you.
Common slips
- Out-of-date roles or an unfinished profile.
- A headline that does not match the roles you are applying for.
- Differences between your CV and your profile, which can look careless.
When your profile is ready, add the link to your application so the referrer can find it easily.
